The Phantom Flag Football league has reached the midway point this season, and Tom Gentry, commissioner of the league’s board, said the league is going strong.

In its inaugural season, Gentry said, the league mas more than 200 kids enrolled on 22 teams across four different divisions.

“I think, overall, a lot of people have been satisfied,” Gentry said. “We’re learning as we grow.”

Gentry expects to have more than 300 youngsters between ages 5 and 17 sign up for the fall league.

Registration for the fall league will take place in August, Gentry said, and there will be a player combine and draft system around the time of registration.
