Rickey Clint Green, 31, of Bunnell, was struck and killed by a truck at 2:50 p.m. Sept. 28, on Interstate 95. He was the third Flagler County resident in three days to die in a traffic accident.
Green was walking across I-95 at Mile 280, for unknown reasons, according to the report from the Florida Highway Patrol. Wayne N. Peconi, 51, of Ontario, Canada, was traveling southbound in a 2006 Kenworth truck.
Peconi attempted to brake to avoid Green, but the right front end of the truck struck Green and killed him.
In unrelated incidents, a Flagler motorcyclist was killed Sept. 26; a bicyclist was hit and killed Sept. 27.
