Palm Coast woman killed in crash at intersection of Pine Grove Drive and Belle Terre Parkway

The T-bone crash occurred as the woman pulled into the intersection to make a lefthand turn, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A 51-year-old Palm Coast woman died in a March 2 crash at the intersection of Pine Grove Drive and Belle Terre Parkway, according to a news release from the Florida Highway Patrol. 

The woman was driving a sedan west on Pine Grove Drive at about 6:26 p.m. At the intersection, she tried to make a left turn onto southbound Belle Terre Parkway, and in doing so pulled into the path of a northbound sport utility vehicle driven by a 36-year-old Palm Coast man.

The front of the SUV struck the left side of the sedan, killing the woman, according to the news release.

Both southbound lanes and the left northbound lane of Belle Terre Parkway were blocked until about 9 p.m., according to the news release.
