Flagler County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 21 Fort Caroline Lane in Palm Coast on the afternoon of Monday, Jan. 15, after a woman was found dead within the residence, according to Sheriff Rick Staly.

The woman, 55-year-old Jessica Coubrough, appeared to be deceased for “some time,” according to a news release by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

Staly said the house, which was raided for drugs in November, is known as a 'problem house' to deputies.

However, Staly said there was no reason to suspect foul play.

“We believe that this was probably a medical issue caused by drug addiction, possibly a drug overdose,” Staly said. “We won’t know until the autopsy is done, though.”
