The following is an adapted press release from the city of Palm Coast:

A partnership between the Friends of Tennis, Habitat for Humanity, Kemper Sports, the city of Palm Coast and other Palm Coast businesses will help shelter tennis players from the hot sun.

The Palm Coast Tennis Center will proudly unveil its new shade structure, recently constructed over the patio area alongside the courts, 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at a special round robin tournament. Refreshments will be included. Cost is $15 per player.

This shade structure project was accomplished with a generous donation of volunteer hours, an equitable division of material expenses and a dedication to enhancing the tennis experience at the center.

The Palm Coast Tennis Center is located at 1290 Belle Terre Parkway, just east of Palm Cost Fire Station No. 25.

For more information, contact the Tennis Center at 986-2550.
