Palm Coast resident Jennette Gardner isn't a typical stay-at-home mother. Beyond taking care of her children, Gardner's speciality is obstacle course racing.

The 39-year-old will appear on “Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge” at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17, on CMT. The TV competition series features athletic contenders who compete against each other to become the sole person who advances to the skull buster challenge, which is designed by "Stone Cold" Steve Austin himself.

One of Gardner's biggest accomplishments is completing a 9-mile Spartan Super race and then a 5-mile sprint the following day, according to a press release.

If Gardner wins the 10K, she plans to pay off some of her family debt.
