William Earl Carden, 37, died in a car crash on Interstate 95 near the Palm Coast exit at mile marker 289 early the morning of Sept. 7.
Carden was driving north in a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero approaching the Palm Coast exit at about 1:03 a.m. when he cut off another vehicle and swerved onto the exit ramp, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
He then overcorrected to the left, and the car spun onto the grassy shoulder of the road and overturned before coming to rest on its roof.
Carden died at the scene of the crash. There were no passengers in the vehicle, according to the FHP.
