PALM COAST — Motorists and other travelers should expect eastbound and westbound lane closures along Palm Coast Parkway from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday, March 9, through Tuesday, March 11, as the Palm Coast Parkawy six-laning project continues to ramp up, city officials announced.

The closures will stretch from west of Cypress Point Parkway/Boulder Rock Drive to east of Florida Park Drive. A lane will remain open both eastbound and westbound.

These lane closures are required in order for the contractor to implement the planned eastbound and westbound lane shifts through the construction zone.

Up-to-date lane closure information will be posted to the Palm Coast Parkway Widening Project website at palmcoastpkwy.com. A project hotline number has been established to assist the public with questions and concerns: 1-800-515-9194.

Weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances could alter work schedules.

City officials warn travelers of heavy equipment and to stay within the limits of the orange cones and barrels.

The project is scheduled to be completed by December 2015.
