Julie and Elise Zitka, of Palm Coast, took their Palm Coast Observer to the summit of Pikes Peak in Colorado on July 30, 2015. The mother and daughter vacationed in Colorado, attended a wedding in Crested Butte, and reunited with friends and a cousin. The wildflowers were in full bloom in Crested Butte, the Wildflower Capital of Colorado, and the two went horseback riding through the Aspen trees. After being on top of the world at Pikes Peak they visited Garden of the Gods.
