Robert Thomas Cronin, 62, of Palm Coast, was pronounced dead following a car crash at approximately 3:25 a.m. Saturday, on Whiteview Parkway.

Cronin’s 2002 Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on Whiteview Parkway, at about 80 mph, according to the police report, when it drove off the road into a grassy median, where the road began curving right.

The car traveled 111 feet east along the median and started rotating clockwise before its left front fender and driver’s side door struck a tree.
