Old Kings, Matanzas Woods lane closures planned for Aug. 17-23

Palm Harbor Parkway Extension construction work will close lanes on Old Kings Road and Matanzas Woods Parkway near the two streets' intersection.

The following is an adapted news release from the city of Palm Coast communications office: 

The following road closures and lane closures are required within the next couple of weeks for the construction of the Palm Harbor Parkway Extension project:

On Monday Aug. 17 and Tuesday, Aug. 18, drivers should expect lane closures on Old Kings Road near the Matanzas Woods Parkway intersection. A single lane will remain open.

On Wednesday, Aug. 19, and Thursday, Aug. 20, motorists and other travelers should expect a complete road closure on Old Kings Road and Matanzas Woods Parkway near the Matanzas Woods intersection. Matanzas Woods Parkway will be closed at Bird of Paradise, allowing eastbound traffic to Matanzas High School only.  Old Kings Road will be closed at the Forest Grove Drive intersection, allowing northbound traffic to Matanzas High School only.

From Friday, Aug. 21, through Sunday, Aug. 23, motorists and other travelers should expect lane closures on Old Kings Road and Matanzas Woods Parkway near the Matanzas Woods/Old Kings Road intersection. A single lane will remain open.
