Nirvana Wellness owner Kat Jankowski described the grand opening celebration on Feb. 7 a complete success as hundreds turned out for the event.

Jankowski and her team created a carnival-like atmosphere, including a bounce house for children, in the parking lot of her office, located at 2561 Moody Blvd., Suite 100, Flagler Beach.

“We are really involved with the community and we wanted to give the community awareness,” Jankowski said. “We invited several other small businesses to join us.

“For Nirvana Wellness, we brought all we do from the inside of the office to the outside.”

Participants enjoyed free food and drinks, in addition to short therapies on Jankowski’s massage table. She worked on people’s knees, backs and shoulders in order to help them with pain issues.

“I saw numerous people at the grand opening who had different medical conditions,” Jankowski said. “At Nirvana, we focus on health, wellness and chronic pain. We want to urge people away from pain meds and unhealthy lifestyles. We do massage, bodywork, functional movement and help post-surgical patients.”
