+ Carver Gym online auction
Fronted by County Commissioner Barbara Revels, George Washington Carver Center has launched an online silent auction to raise funds for its facilities. As of April 28, 46 donors have offered items, ranging from specialized license plates to coquina lawn rocks, all of which will be personally delivered to the doors of bid winners. Items will be listed on the auction site until midnight June 15, with proceeds going toward programs and equipment for the Center.

+ Fireworks weekend approved
The County Commission on May 2 unanimously approved the Tourist Development Council’s proposed $30,000 Flagler Beach/Palm Coast joint Fourth of July weekend.

+ Code committee formed
Commissioner Nate McLaughlin was named the board’s representative chair for the Flagler County Land Development Code Advisory Committee. Mike Boyd, Russ Reinke, Dennis Clark and Dick Ryan were also appointed to the committee.

+ Colbert re-striping almost done
Striping has been completed on County Road 304, County Administrator Craig Coffey reported to the board May 2. Colbert Road is being re-striped currently, for completion planned within the week.

+ Corrections
Florida Hospital Flagler now uses a PET-CT scan.

+ Public Meetings
Palm Coast City Council — the next regular workshop is 9 a.m. May 10, at City Offices.

Flagler County Board of County Commissioners — the next regular meeting is 9 a.m. May 6, at Government Services Building.

Flagler County School Board — the next special meeting is 3 p.m. May 6, at the GSB.
