New art shows open at City Marketplace galleries

New art shows will open Saturday, Jan. 11, at the galleries in City Marketplace. Opening receptions will be held 6-9 p.m. at Hollingsworth Gallery, Flagler County Art League and Studio Dow.

Hollingsworth Gallery will feature works from selected artists, including sculptures by Rick Crawford, Marilyn Leverton and Fay Samimi; paintings by Peter Ceretta, J.J. Graham, Petra Iston, Christine Sullivan, Kathy Omeara; and photography by Mark Townsend.

The art league will open its juried photography show in the main gallery and a Plein Air Exhibit on the small wall.

Studio Dow will exhibit Strappo, prints by Jan Geyer.
