A 15-year-old Ohio girl who had been reported missing by the Cleveland Police Department was located earlier today, March 10, at a Palm Coast hotel with her father, according to a news release from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

Her father, Terrance Cantrell, who has custody of the teenager, was charged with grand theft auto. Deputies said he was in possession of a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Cleveland.

Deputies responded to the Best Western Inn at 5 Kingswood Drive after Ohio authorities said they had received information that Terrance and his daughter were in Flagler County.

Cantrell is currently being held in the Flagler County Inmate Facility with no bond. His daughter has been turned over to the state Department of Children and Family.

Ohio authorities believe the two were en route to a relative’s home in Sanford.
