Missing man found safe

UPDATE:  10:25 a.m. Friday, March 27:

Stephen Vickers, missing since Monday, March 16, has been found safe, according to a Sheriff's Office news release.

"On Thursday, March 26, deputies received a tip that Stephen Vickers was seen near Publix on Belle Terre Parkway in Palm Coast. Deputies quickly responded and safely located Vickers," the news release states.

The following is a news release from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office:

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help finding missing Palm Coast resident Stephen Vickers, who was reportedly last seen at about 9 a.m. Monday, March 16, at his Blairsville Drive home.

Vickers is a white male, 5’11-6’1 tall, and weighs 185 pounds. He has green eyes and short gray hair, and is partially balding. Vickers is believed to be in a depressed state and possibly intoxicated.

He is known to frequent the Flagler County Public Library, Good Will in Palm Coast, and the Flagler Beach and St. Augustine areas.

Vickers was last seen wearing blue jeans, tennis shoes and a gray sweater.

Anyone with information or who has seen Vickers is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 386-313-4911 in reference to case number 2015-30593.
