+ MHS students celebrate at Scott Inaugural Parade

Students from Matanzas High School attended Gov. Rick Scott’s Inaugural Parade Tuesday, Jan. 4, in Tallahassee. The competition cheerleading squad, the ROTC color guard and six members from student government walked in the two-hour parade around the Florida State Capitol.

“I think it was a great experience for the kids,” said Jodi Mulvihill, student government adviser. “It’s something they will probably never get to do again.”
