The 2014 Miss Flagler County Scholarship Pageants will be held Sunday June 22 at the Flagler Auditorium starting at 3 p.m. for the Little Miss, 5 p.m. for Miss Junior and 7 p.m. for Miss Flagler.
The bios for this years’ contestants re as follows:
Miss Flagler
Brie Smith
Smith is the 19-year-old daughter of Mark and Yvette Smith, of Palm Coast. She has blonde hair and blue eyes and stands at 5-feet, 2-inches tall. Smith will be a sophomore this year at St. John’s River State College where she is earning her AA/AS degree in criminal justice.
Smith is sponsored by Ice Cold Air & Refrigeration Services. She coaches gymnastics and competitive cheerleading part-time while attending college. She also competes in the AAU Women’s Gymnastics Organization and was named state champion this year. Her ultimate career goal is to work in law enforcement.
Lee Ann Spivey
Spivey is 19 years old with brown hair and hazel eyes. She is 5-feet, 7-inches tall and is the daughter of Paul and Cindy Spivey, of Palm Coast. She will be a junior at the University of South Florida in the fall.
Spivey is sponsored by Flagler Dental Associates. She plays Division 1 softball for her university while also being an active member in SAAC. After earning her BA degree in mass communication, she plans on playing professional softball in Japan before returning home to write a book and work as a sports writer.
Windsor Mills
Mills is 19 years old with brown hair and blue eyes and stands at 5-feet, 1-inch tall. She is the daughter of Anthony and Denise Mills, of Flagler Beach. She will be a junior at Florida Southern College where she is earning her nursing degree.
Mills is sponsored by E’lan Hair Studio. She is active in Prevent Child Abuse America and SAFFARI Animal Rescue. Her future goals include becoming a nurse midwife.
Shanna Merceron
Merceron is the daughter of Gary and Denise Merceron, of Palm Coast. She is 18 years old and 5-feet, 2-inches tall with blonde hair and green eyes. This year, she will be a freshman at the University of Florida where she will major in English.
Merceron is sponsored by Lalique Salon. She is active in cheerleading and jujitsu. She graduated high school this year with a 4.7 GPA and will be pursuing a career in publishing. She aspires, one day, write and publish her own books.
Sara D’Esposito
D’Esposito is the daughter of Jim and Sandy D’Esposito, of Palm Coast. She is 18 years old and 5-feet tall with brown hair and brown eyes.She will be a freshman at Stetson University this fall majoring in law.
D’Esposito is sponsored by Rob Polidore Auto Transport. She is an honors graduate of Matanzas High School where she received a medal of cum laude. D’Esposito will cheerlead at Stetson and pursue her degree in law. She plans to one day open her own law office and practicing family law.
Parin Majewski
Majewski is 22 years old with blonde hair and green eyes and stands at 5-feet, 7-inches tall. She is the daughter of Lorie Herberg, of Palm Coast. This year, Majewski will be a senior at the University of Florida where she will earn her BA in athletic training.
Majewski is sponsored by Florida Jukido Jujitsu Academy. She has been practicing jukido for 10 years and is now a certified instructor and second degree black belt. She plans on attending graduate school to earn a master’s degree in biomechanics.
Hannah Welch
Welch is the 18-year-old daughter of Corinna Welch, of Flagler Beach. She has strawberry brown hair and hazel eyes and stands at 5-feet, 6-inches tall. Hannah will be a freshman this year at Daytona State College.
Welch is sponsored by A1A Burrito Works. She volunteers for Second Chance Rescue, Flagler Humane Society and SAFFARI Animal Rescue. She is currently earning her state degree from Future Farmer’s Of America and plans to get her masters in zoology specializing in African animals. She hopes to one day travel to Africa to help elephant control and save the white rhino.
Junior Miss Flagler
Skylar Darlene Sweatt
Sweatt is 13 years old and the daughter of Jay and Dawn Sweatt. She is sponsored by Autotech Total Car Care and will be entering the eighth grade at St. Brendan Catholic School.
Destiny Cole
Cole is the 14-year-old-daughter of Michael and Rayann Cole, of Palm Coast. She is sponsored by the Glass Ceiling Hair Salon and will be a freshman this year at flagler Palm Coast High School.
Kai Jackson
Jackson is 14 years old and the daughter of Scott Jackson and Brandee Jackson, of Palm Coast. She is sponsored by US Patriot Title and will be entering ninth-grade at Flagler Palm Coast High School.
Aliyah Crawford
Crawford is the 13-year-old-daughter of Melissa Crawford, of Palm Coast. She is sponsored by Descartes Pressure Washing And Handyman Service and will be entering the eighth grade at Indian Trails Middle School.
Kiana Rose Merceron
Merceron is 15 years old and the daughter of Gary and Denise Merceron, of Palm Coast. She is sponsored by Lalique Salon and will be a sophomore at Matanzas High School this fall.
Little Miss Flagler 8-11
Megan Trent
Trent is the 11-year-old daughter of Jeff and Lynette Trent, of Palm Coast. In August she will be entering the sixth grade at Imagine School at Town Center.
Lexi Taylor Wright
Wright is the daughter of Bob and Wendy Wright, of Palm Coast. She is 10 years old and will be entering the fifth grade at Imagine School at Town Center.
Victoria Wilcox
Wilcox is the daughter of Troy and Sage Wilcox, of Palm Coast. She is 10 years old and will be entering the fifth grade at Rymfire Elementary School.
Haley Brooke Stephenson
Stephenson is the 9-year-old daughter of Jay and Laura Stephenson, of Palm Coast. For the upcoming school year, she will attend Imagine School at Town Center as a fourth-grade student.
Claire Collins
Collins is the daughter of Tim and Denise Collins, of Palm Coast. She will be homeschooled this fall beginning thirf grade.
Mackinzie Joy Rogan
Rogan is the 8-year-old-daughter of Mike and Shauna Rogan, of Palm Coast. This year, she will attend Wadsworth Elementary School as a third-grade student.
Madelynn Oliva
Oliva is 10 years old and the daughter of Jacob and Rebecca Oliva, of Flagler Beach. She will be entering the fifth grade at Bunnell Elementary School.
Maken Harding
Harding is the 8-year-old daughter of Jamey and Amanda Harding, of Palm Coast. She will be in the third grade at Rymfire Elementary School.
Autumn Bryan
Bryan is the daughter of Joi Bryan and Carlos Benitez, of Palm Coast. She is 9 years old and will be entering the fourth grade at Belle Terre Elementary School.
Ciara Marie Glover
Glover is the 8-year-old daughter of Anthony and Dorothy Glover, of Palm Coast. This year, she will be attending Imagine School at Town Center as a third-grade student.
Caroline Rizzo
Rizzo is 11 years old and the daughter of Joe and Teresa Rizzo, of Flagler Beach. In August, she will be entering the sixth grade at Old Kings Elementary School.
Hailey Capehart
Capehart is the 9-year-old-daughter of Shawn and Belinda Capehart, of Palm Coast. She will be entering the third grade at Bunnell Elementary School.
Riley Eddy
Eddy is the 8-year-old daughter of Joe and Tina Eddy, of Flagler Beach. In August, she will be entering the fourth grade Old Kings Elementary School.
Sage Sweatt
Sweatt is the daughter of Jay and Dawn Sweatt. She is 11 years old and will be entering the sixth grade at St. Brendan.

Baylee Grace Rogan
Rogan is the 6-year-old daughter of Mike and Shauna Rogan, of Palm Coast. She will be starting second grade at Wadsworth Elementary School.
Mary Michelle Wilcox
Wilcox is the 7-year-old daughter of Troy and Sage Wilcox, of Palm Coast. This school year, she will be in the second grade at Rymfire Elementary School.
Dalton Rae Mitchell
Mitchell is 5 years old and the daughter of Shelly Edmonson and Lisa Mitchell, of Palm Coast. This fall, she will be entering kindergarten.
Ariadnah Kardas
Kardas is the 7-year-old daughter of Waleska and Marko Kardas, of Palm Coast. She will be entering the second grade at Old Kings Elementary School.
Tristyn Grace Fulton
Fulton is the daughter of Dwayne and Carolyn Fulton, of Palm Coast. She is 6 years old and entering the first grade at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
Brianna Jacob
Jacob is the 7-year-old daughter of Melissa Crosswhite and Chris Jacob, of Palm Coast. She will be entering the first grade at Imagine School at Town Center.
Aaliyah Marie Glover
Glover is the daughter of Anthony and Dorothy Glover, of Bunnell. She is 5 years old and will be entering kindergarten at Imagine School at Town Center.
Mckenzie Kathleen Wagner
Wagner is the daughter of Jason and Jennifer Wagner, of Palm Coast. She is 5 years old and will be entering first grade at Belle Terre Elementary.
Amirah Kardas

Payton Blackburn
Blackburn is the daughter of Justin and Brooke Blackburn, of Palm Coast. She is 5 years old and will be entering kindergarten at Belle Terre Elementary School.

Cain is the 6-year-old daughter of Shannon and April Cain, of Palm Coast. She will be starting first grade at Old Kings Elementary School.
