A 36-year-old Bunnell man was hospitalized June 25 with what deputies believed to be stab wounds, but refused to talk to law enforcement officers.

The incident was reported to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office at about 1:08 a.m. June 25 by staff at Florida Hospital Flagler, according to a deputy's report.

Deputies went to speak to the victim at the hospital, and one deputy wrote that the man had "wounds to the left side of (his) body consistent with being stabbed with a knife or sharp object." The injuries did not appear life-threatening.

But the man wouldn't say anything about how he'd been injured or where the incident occurred, according to the report. Most of the case report is redacted.

Deputies talked to witnesses, but were "unable to locate anyone that would cooperate with this investigation," according to a Commander's Log entry.

Deputies wrote in a report that the incident happened sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m.
