The Palm Coast Arts Foundation (PCAF) has received a very generous matching gift challenge toward their "Raise the Roof" campaign.

The donor, who wishes to remain anonymous, will match dollar for dollar up to $50,000 until May 19. This is the single largest gift to PCAF by an individual and the challenge could potentially raise $100,000 to complete the roof structure for the foundation's new outdoor stage.

PCAF is attempting to match a state grant for $500,000 for the new roof. At the request of the donor, tax-deductible matching gifts must be a minimum of $100.

Said PCAF President Sam Perkovich, "We hope everyone will take advantage of this extraordinary opportunity to double the value of the impact.”

The foundation will continue its fundraising efforts at its annual Picnic & Pops event May 7, featuring the Jacksonville Symphony performing on the new outdoor stage. Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic basket to enjoy while listening to the performance. Tickets are $45 for members and $50 for the general public. Contact the PCAF office at 225-4394, or visit their website at www.palmcoastartsfoundation.com
