A Nite of Magic

When: 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Saturday, April 22

Where: Hilton Garden Inn, 55 Town Center Blvd.

Details: Flagler Volunteer Services presents an evening of fun and magic with guest emcee for the night, Schools Superintendent Jacob Oliva, and live performance by local magician "Peter the Great." Silent & live auction featuring special auctioneer Mayor Milissa Holland. Hors d'oeuvres and cash bar.

Community Chorus of Palm Coast: Farewell Concert

When: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, April 21

Where: Trinity Presbyterian Church, 156 Florida Park Drive North

Details: The Community Chorus of Palm Coast is starting their 7th concert season by honoring the leadership of departing chorus director Linda Hodges with her favorite selections. "Musical Memories, a director's celebration" will be performed by the 70-plus choir.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

When: 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m, Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22; 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 23

Where: Flagler Playhouse, 301 E. Moody Blvd., Bunnell

Details: With music by Stephen Sondheim, and book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart (of M*A*S*H* fame), Forum, the uproarious tale of a Roman slave and his attempts to win his freedom by helping his young master woo the girl next door, closes out the 2016-17 season.

John & Jen: The Musical

When: 7:30 p.m., Friday, Saturday, and Sunday April 28, 29 and 30; again on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday May 4, 6 and 7

Where: City Repertory Theatre, 160 Cypress Point Pkwy

Details: With a beautiful score, the musical tells the sweeping story of complicated relationships between brother and sister during the 1960s in America, and mother and son during the 1980s.
