Unity Day, the signature event for National Bullying Prevention Month, took place today Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Imagine School at Town Center campus wide. Kindergartners united in a peace symbol on the PE field.
On this day people around the world come together to unite for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion and create a world without bullying. The call to action is simple: wear and share the color orange.

Elana Sobhani, of Bunnell, was placed on the Spring 2020 President’s List at Reinhardt University. To be on the President’s List, students must take at least 12 credit hours, earning a 4.0 GPA and not have any incompletes.
Earlier this month, "The Little Red Fort," by Brenda Maier was the inspiration for some hands-on learning at home for Allison Kucharski's second-grade remote students at Rymfire Elementary School.
After reading "The Little Red Fort," students designed and engineered their own forts. They had to explore and brainstorm different types of forts and shelters, design a blueprint to make a plan to build their fort, and produce a list of possible building materials they could use.
Finally, they put the process into live action to create their own fort to rival Ruby's, the main character of the story, constructions.
Remote learning can seem like many hours on a digital device, but even while studying at home, students at Rymfire are given opportunities to stay interactive with projects to enhance their learning.
