Kenneth Bert Nagel
1929-2020

Kenneth Bert Nagel, 90, of Palm Coast, FL, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Burnett Calver Hospice House in Prince Frederick, MD. 

He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Theresa Nagel, granddaughter Nicole and husband Allen Enfield, great grandson Reese Enfield, grandson Eric Nagel, great granddaughter Harper Grace Nagel, brothers Robert and Walter Nagel, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Eleanor, son Kenneth, sister Anna Mae Grant, and four brothers: Carl Jr., Elwood Warren, George Henry and Norman Miller Nagel.

He was born August 13, 1929. he resided in Riverdale, MD during his childhood. After attending Stayer Business College in Washington, DC, he moved to New York to pursue a career in business at Pan American Airways. While at Pan Am, he met his future wife Eleanor. Later, both Ken and Eleanor continued their careers at Grumman Aircraft until his retirement at 63. Upon retirement he moved to Palm Coast, FL where he has resided for the last 30 years.

During his retirement, Eleanor and Ken traveled the world. Ken also enjoyed trips in his restored 1931 Model A Ford and his association with the Crankin A’s car club in Daytona Beach. Ken was a very generous, friendly and outgoing person. He always looked forward to his trips to Maryland to attend the annual Nagel family reunion and the annul Christmas dinner which he sponsored for family and friends. Ken will be missed by many.
