PALM COAST — A nearly three-hour rain delay caused some logistical issues on Friday at the 10th-annual Hammock Hardware East Coast Classic track-and-field meet, held at Flagler Palm Coast High School.

But shortly after 5 p.m., teams took to the track for a finals-only evening. There were no preliminary races. Finals were determined by heat times.

Here are some results from Friday's action ...

4 minutes, 37 seconds — time it took Matanzas' Liam Conville to finish the 1,600 meters. Conville finished in third. Conville also took third place in the 3,200 meters.

.75 — seconds between FPC’s Marcel Williams and Justin Pacifico in the 400 meters. Williams (51.51 seconds) finished second, and Pacifico (52.26) finished in third place.

10 minutes, 11 seconds — time it took Matanzas’ David Perez to finish the 3,200 meters. He finished fifth.

16.63 seconds — FPC’s Devonne Friday finished second in the 100-meter hurdles.

8 feet — height Matanzas’ Savannah Drummonds reached in the pole vault. Drummonds finished seventh.

10th — place Matanzas’ Kayla Short finished in the shot put, with a toss of 27 feet, 4 inches.
