The city of Palm Coast’s Holland Park phase two renovations are near completion. The playground construction has been finished for a few months. The splash pad is now ready for families to enjoy.

The Holland Park splash pad ribbon cutting will take place at 9 a.m. May 14, at the pavilion closest to the restrooms. Palm Coast Mayor Milissa Holland, Palm Coast Parks and Recreation Director Lauren Johnston, and BBI Construction Project Manager Ben Grikstas will all be speaking.

If you visit Holland Park prior to the event, you’ll notice there may be children frolicking among the splash pad creatures, enjoying the water sprays under the Florida sun. Starting May 3, the Parks and Recreation team is beginning a soft opening of the attraction ahead of the ribbon cutting event, which will signify the official opening of the splash pad. Don’t forget that sunscreen!
