Indian Trails Middle School has won $70,000 in technology for its new STEM lab, compliments of Samsung, Microsoft, DIRECTV and the Adobe Foundation.

The school was also selected as one of the top 12 finalists in Samsung’s nationwide Solve for Tomorrow video contest, making it eligible for an additional $30,000. To get the extra funds, the school needs to make up a lot of ground in the online voting system. As of Monday afternoon, Indian Trails is in fourth place with 5,410 votes. Schoharie High School, in New York, is leading the contest with 22,301 votes.

Each voter can vote once a day until March 12. Winners will be notified on or about March 15.

To vote, visit www.samsung.com/solvefortomorrow.
