Hole-in-100: Local to golf 100 holes for education

A local golfer has pledged to golf 100 holes to raise money for a new golf academy. 

Gerald Fauntleroy, a professional gof instructor and a project manager with the local nonprofit Alliance of Involved Ministers, will hold his golf marathon March 1 at the Riverbend Golf and Country Club.

The money wlll be used for golf clubs and instruction costs for Links To The Future, a new golf program that will include youth and adult education and a special program for disadvantaged children. 

The pilot program will be held at the Carver Center in Bunnell.
