The Flagler County Historical Society is in the business of the past. But the society will soon be planning for the future by awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a Flagler County graduating senior.
This will be the first time the society has given a scholarship, and it is thanks to a gift from a generous society member.
Applications will be available in the guidance office of high schools and in libraries around the county starting in January.
