Jadriana Cox, daughter of Joel and Becky Cox, of Bunnell, and Cory Soard, son of Mike and Kim Soard, of Palm Coast, recently got engaged.

The young lovebirds have known each other most of their lives because their dads worked together at Sea Ray Boats, but became close in 2005, when Soard moved to Palm Coast from Ormond. They started dating June 11, 2006, and have been inseparable to this day.

“We are truly each other’s best friends considering we have been together for what will be seven years come our wedding date,” Cox said. “We are proof that you can find true love in high school and will cherish the fact of being high school sweethearts.”

They plan to be married June 15.
