Handmade soap, candles and bows were just some of the products available from local artisans Friday, Dec. 6, at the Holiday Handmade Market hosted at the BeachHouse Beanery Creative Works and Events, a newly formed collaborative community of artists, entrepreneurs and visionaries, by Cayla Moreman.

“I see a community of artists and want to give them a place for their products,” Moreman said. “I just want to get everyone involved — bring a community together to collaborate, connect and network.”

The market hosted a total of 26 vendors. Moreman said there are plans in work for more events, as well as aspirations of one day owning her own shop.

A portion of the profits from the market was donated to the Epic Church Giving Tree.
