Hammock Beach opens to the public for Easter Brunch event

With Atlantic Grille still closed because of hurricane-related damages, Hammock Beach Resort is instead opening its Ocean Ballroom to the public for the annual Easter Brunch event.

There will be live entertainment, action stations, kids activities and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. Seatings are 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 16. Cost is $42, or $22 for ages 4-10. Make reservations at bit.ly/2oKo0vT.

 

Farmers market to be hosted at Tractor Supply

Tractor Supply Co. is looking for farmers, crafters and artisans to sell their homemade and homegrown goods at its spring Farmers Market scheduled for April 29. Vendors will be able showcase their goods, free of charge, in areas near the storefront. Nonprofit organizations are also encouraged to register.

Fourth-annual Putt Crawl scheduled for April 29

The fourth-annual YPG Putt Crawl, a fundraiser in which residents can play nine holes of mini golf by traveling between nine Flagler Beach restaurants, will be held April 29.

Sponsors, including Realty Executives Oceanside at Hole 1 at Kokomo’s, will decorate their putt-putt holes for a contest. REO won the contest last year.

Proceeds from this event will support the fifth-annual Youth Leadership Flagler, a program offered to high school juniors each year. Modeled after the Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Flagler that has helped develop aspiring leaders for 22 years, the youth program provides participating students with a better understanding of Flagler County.

Admission is $20 early register and $25 the day of, although spots will not be guaranteed. Admission includes a commemorative putt crawl mug and bag, complimentary beverage at each participating restaurant, nine holes of putt-putt and entry into the YPG Putt Crawl After Party at Tortuga's in Flagler Beach.

Craig Flagler Palms to add mausoleum

The city of Palm Coast issued a development order on March 31 to Craig Flagler Palms for a mausoleum addition, which is a building that houses tombs. The addition consists of 1,697 square feet of mausoleum and 2,204 square feet of walkways.
