Halifax Health–Hospice named highest level of care in Central Florida

HealthCareFirst has selected Halifax Health–Hospice as one of the top hospices providing the best patient and caregiver experience in their 2021 Hospice Honors list. This landmark compilation acknowledges Halifax Health–Hospice as the only hospice in Central Florida providing the highest level of quality as measured from a caregiver’s point of view.

From October 2019 through September 2020, HealthCareFirst collected patient experience surveys from individuals receiving care from Halifax Health-Hospice. These surveys were evaluated by HealthCareFirst using Hospice CAHPS quality measures and determined the level of patient care provided by Halifax Health–Hospice. Before even being considered for the Hospice Honors list, Halifax Health–Hospice had to achieve a score above the national average in the Hospice CAHPS category, “Willingness to Recommend this Hospice."
