Palm Coast Gymnastics took home two first-place team finishes, one individual first-place overall finish and 13 individual first-place event finishes as it hosted its first invitational meet Saturday, Oct. 1, at Flagler Palm Coast High School.

The Summer Salt Invite featured more than 250 gymnasts, levels 2 through 6, from Florida and Georgia.

Palm Coast Gymnastics Owner Kelly Hesbeens said hosting this event gave her a chance to show Palm Coast how talented her gymnasts are.

“A lot of people in Palm Coast don’t know gymnastics is here,” she said.

Hosting this tournament not only brings people to Palm Coast, Hesbeens said, but it also brings Palm Coast people to gymnastics.
