GratitudeAmerica gives and receives gratitude to military veterans

GratitudeAmerica wants to provide a free four-day retreat for veterans and their supporters.

Coldwell Banker Premier Properties donated a check for over $5,500 to GratitudeAmerica, as a result of the bank’s golf tournament this past spring, Tuesday, July 7, at Coldwell‘s location.

“The community’s support is vital to us continuing to be able to accomplish our mission in this community,” said John November, GratitudeAmerica’s executive director, who received the check on the behalf of the organization. “We couldn’t be more thankful for our No. 1 partners in Flagler County, Coldwell Banker Premier Properties, for all the efforts they expended since 2012, when we started our partnership."

November mentioned that Coldwell’s donation was enough to fund the organization’s annual veteran’s retreat. In fact, GratitudeAmerica will be hosting a four-day retreat for post 9/11 veterans and any of their sponsors (spouse, parent, friend, child, etc.), at no expense for the veterans, from Sept. 10 to 13, at the Marineland. The retreat will be catered throughout the week by various local restaurants at no cost to veterans and supporters.
