Gobble, gobble: Thanksgiving race coming Thursday

The following is an adapted press release from the city of Palm Coast:

First lace up your turkey, and then lace up your running shoes for the 1st-Annual Feet to Feast Thanksgiving Day 15K/5K run, in Palm Coast.
The shotgun goes off at 8 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 24, at Daytona State College, 3000 Palm Coast Parkway.

Prizes will be awarded following the race for overall male and female winners, as well as for runners in several age brackets.

Advanced registration is still available, either in person at the Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway N.E., or online at www.PalmCoastGov.com. Runners may also register the morning of the race. Fees range from $20 to $35, and includes a T-shirt, goody bag and refreshments.

Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 21 to Nov. 23, at the Palm Coast Community Center.
