FPC football sends off 10 seniors

The Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs faced district opponent DeLand Friday, Nov. 4, at home, for the season closer, resulting in a 40-7 loss.

Willie Gardner, junior, scored the only touchdown for FPC on a pass from freshman quarterback Marquis Murphy.

FPC, which was plagued by injuries this season, ended the season 3-7 and 1-4 in the disrict.

“Senior Night means a lot to me because I’ve been playing football here since my freshman year, and that was my first time,” said defensive tackle Snider Saint Vil before the game. “I did a lot for this team, and I’m going to miss it a lot.”

Other seniors on the team include Semaj Worthy, defensive line; James Pate, wide receiver; Devin Stout, linebacker; Brian Mendes, running back; Nick Maiori,linebacker; Gabe Rodriguez, defensive line; Shaaf McGlown, offensive line; Chris Perron, offensive line; and Dvlan Carey, tight end.
