Four people died the night of April 17 in a car crash on State Road 100 in Andalusia in western Flagler County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The four, all of San Mateo, were as follows: Thomas Patrick Riley, 62; and Wilma Williams, 49, with her two daughters Mozella Williams, 13, and Kaleigh Williams, 12.

A vehicle — possibly a Chevrolet pickup driven by Riley, according to the FHP report — was heading east on State Road 100 "at a high rate of speed" at about 9 p.m. and crossed the centerline, striking a westbound vehicle, possibly a Kia, according to the report. The Kia was driven by Wilma Williams.

Both vehicles caught fire, and all of the occupants of both died at the crash scene.

Investigators delayed releasing the names of the victims, pending notification of next of kin.
