A coveted white apron is at stake for Chef Jeff Philbin in tonight's week-two season 8 premiere of MasterChef.
The former Palm Coast resident and Flagler College 2012 alumnus auditioned for the cooking competition that pits home chefs against each other in elimination rounds, and after several months of filming in Los Angeles, it's showtime.
"I'm extremely excited and humbled to be a part of this entire process," Philbin, 29, said.
Forty home chefs are introduced between the two opening weeks, and half will be eliminated, leaving 20 to battle it out for the $250,000 grand prize.
