Flagler's Family Life Center names new director

The following is adapted from a news release from the Family Life Center:

New executive director named for Family Life Center

The board of directors of the Family Life Center announced today that they have named Trish Giaccone as the new executive director, effective June 1.

According to its website, the Family Life Center is a domestic/sexual violence center and emergency center.

Giaccone, a Family Life Center employee since 2007, worked as the interim executive director of the agency for the past six months. Board President Carol Corson stated: “Trish Giaccone’s dedication, energy and leadership during a most difficult time has allowed the agency to move forward, institute needed safeguards, and emerge better prepared to face the future.”

Prior to working for the Family Life Center, Giaccone worked as a real estate sales agent and as an executive administrative assistant for LandMar Group.

Giaccone and her husband make their home in Palm Coast. They have four children who are students in Flagler County Public Schools. Giaccone’s husband’s business is Veritas Construction Inc.
