Flagler Tiger Bay Club

The Flagler Tiger Bay Club is set to host a two-day event featuring candidates for mayor of the city of Palm Coast.

The public is invited to attend the event that will be held at the Palm Coast Community Center on Wednesday, June 23, and Thursday, June 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. The first hour will offer voters a chance to meet the qualified candidates, with the official forum beginning at 6 p.m.

As a result of the large number of candidates vying for mayor, the first evening will feature half of the candidates, drawn randomly by an impartial moderator, with the remaining candidates featured the second evening.

Partnering with Flagler Broadcasting, the event will be broadcast live on WNZF NewsRadio 94.9 FM and livestreamed via the Flagler Tiger Bay Club’s website and Facebook page.

Moderated by the Flagler Tiger Bay Club and select members of the community, topics will cover a variety of key issues facing the city of Palm Coast, and the candidates’ views on how to address each.

The educational event is free and open to the public.

The community is invited to submit questions for consideration to [email protected], to the attention of Cheri Orr, recording secretary.

Early voting for the Palm Coast Mayoral Special Election takes place from July 17-24, and Election Day is July 27. The deadline to register to vote is June 28, and Vote-by-Mail request deadline is July 17.
