In this economy, job hunting is one of the most dreaded experiences.

The Flagler Technical Institute, at 1 Corporate Drive, will host an open house and transition fair 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, to showcase its classes and facilities.

According to a release from the school, “At Flagler Technical Institute, students will find great career preparation, expert teachers and professional facilities and equipment. FTI’s hands-on training programs are the best in Central Florida. Earn credits in Adult Basic Education classes.”

FTI offers GED preparation, as well as a workshop called “Work Incentive Seminar Event,” on Social Security work incentives. The school teaches self-advocacy skills for persons with disabilities.

The event is free and open to the public. Complimentary dinner.

For more information, call Susan Brady at 447-4345, Ext. 1807.
