Flagler County Property Appraiser Jay Gardner was recently elected president of the Property Appraiser Association of Florida.

Gardner, who has served as the legislative chair for the state organization, said he was humbled that the group had elected him.

The Property Appraiser Association of Florida is a statewide association of elected county property appraisers whose mission for more than 100 years has been to promote uniform and equitable property assessments throughout Florida. Gardner, a state-certified general appraiser, was elected as Flagler County Property Appraiser in 2005 and has more than 25 years of property-appraisal experience.
