Flagler Schools has a new online tool for parents who want to keep track of their child’s bus. The district has partnered with CalAmp subsidiary, Synovia Solutions to bring “Here Comes The Bus” to Flagler County.

Flagler Schools Transportation Directors Andy West looked at various applications before deciding on “Here Comes The Bus.”

What drew him to this program? “You can track your child’s location when they’re on the bus, you’ll get alerts when the bus is approaching the bus stop, you can look at the location of the bus before it even gets to the bus stop," West said. "You can even get push notifications on your phone letting you know if the bus is running late.”

Instructions on how to download the app and set it up can be found at this link. There is no charge for parents to download and use the app, which is available in Apple’s App Store and Google Play. If you need information, such as a student ID, contact the student's school or sign into Skyward and find the ID there.
