Flagler Palm Coast High School, Flagler Technical College cleared after false bomb threats

More threats were called in at schools in other counties.

The campuses of Flagler Palm Coast High School and Flagler Technical College were cleared by law enforcement officers after someone called in a false bomb threat ton July 14, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office. 

Other bomb threats, also false, were called in to schools in Volusia County and other areas around the state, including at Florida State University in Tallahassee.

Deputies and the FCSO's explosive-detecting dogs searched both school grounds, and the schools have since resumed normal activities, according to the Sheriff's Office.
