Flagler Kiwanis Club celebrates 10th anniversary

Flagler County’s club provides more than $18,000 in scholarships to students in the county each year.

The Kiwanis Club of Flagler County recently celebrated its 10th anniversary — at a funeral home. Members of the club and the community gathered at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, located at 511 Old Kings Road S. in Flagler Beach, for the event on Aug. 16.

Kiwanis is an international organization of local clubs that aids children in their area and around the world.

Flagler County’s club provides more than $18,000 in scholarships to students in the county each year.

The club meets the first and third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn off State Road 100.
