Flagler Home Builders inducts new directors

The Flagler Home Builders Association inducted its 2014 board of directors Nov. 22, at a Hammock Beach Resort gala.

The board includes 15 members, nine builders and six associates. The association also has seven life directors who have served on the board more than 10 years.

Members have elected the following officers for the 2014 board term:

President: Frank Whalen, East Coast Building Corp.
Vice President: Eric Phillips, Phillips Coastal Construction
Secretary/Treasurer: Robbie Richmond, Keystone Homes
Associate Vice President: Kim Raszl, Raszl Custom Pools & Spas
Immediate Past President: Luis Medeiros, New Coastal Homes
Past Associate Vice President: Jim Gonce, Builders FirstSource

Additional board members are as follows:

Tony Amaral Jr., Amaral Custom Homes
Christina Cinelli, WastePro
Brian Gazzoli, SeaGate Homes
Britan Harrison, Meridian Title
Rod Kimberley, Oceanside Homes & Remodeling
Chris Piscitelli, RHS Mechanical
Brad Thomas, Auburn Homes
Roy Waldhauer Jr., Waldhauer Pools
David Wilhite, Atlantic Home Builders

Several awards were also presented at the event:

Eric Phillips, of Phillips Coastal Construction, was recognized as the association’s Builder of the Year. 
Britan Harrison, of Meridian Title, was named Associate of the Year. Budd Severino, of Advanced Home Exteriors, won Membership Spike of the Year. And Richard Gailey, of Associated Mirror and Shelving, was awarded the President’s Award.

The following members were recognized for “above and beyond” contributions to the association: Carmenda Laymon, 360FlaglerCounty.com; Jon Edwards, Keith’s Quality Marble & Granite; Stephen M. Rende, Stephen Rende Roofing; Paul Aiello, RHS Mechanical; Rick Blume, PPG Porter Paint; Christina & Jim Cinelli, WastePro.

The Flagler Home Builders Association has been active locally for 29 years.
