In the wake of Hurricane Irma, the Flagler County Education Foundation is bringing the S.T.U.F.F. Bus to families, because so many are having trouble coming to the Education Foundation, according to a Flagler Schools news release.

The Flagler County Education Foundation S.T.U.F.F. Bus (Supplying Things U Find Fundamental) has served thousands of Flagler Schools students since 2010, distributing essential supplies.

Friday, Sept. 15, the Flagler County Education Foundation and Flagler Schools will bring a bus to both Flagler Beach and the west side of Flagler County full of supplies such as toiletries, school supplies and clothing for children. There will be a limited number of jeans in adult sizes as well. These are supplies the S.T.U.F.F. Bus program has been delivering for nearly a decade.

The supplies will be handed out on Friday, Sept. 15, between noon and 2 p.m., or until supplies run out.

Distribution points are:

  • A and S Hardware, at 1044 County Road 305, in Bunnell
  • Flagler Beach Police Department, at 204 S. Flagler Ave., in Flagler Beach

The Education Foundation stated, "We want to thank the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Flagler Beach and their Police Department for partnering with us in providing this service to our community."
