Flagler County cold-weather shelter opens tonight

The shelter is at First United Methodist Church, 205 N. Pine Street, Bunnell.

The Sheltering Tree Cold-Weather Shelter will open the night of Thursday, Jan. 10, at 5:30 p.m. through Friday morning for individuals and families without heat or housing, as weather is expected to dip below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, according to a press release from Flagler Shares, a free service provided by Flagler County Social Services.

Dinner will be provided by Flagler Christian Homeschool. The shelter is located at First United Methodist Church, 205 N. Pine Street, Bunnell.
