Fireworks will finally fly in Town Center this weekend after the scheduled Fourth of July fireworks were canceled because of the burn ban and fire danger in the county.

The city of Palm Coast will host a free Labor Day firework and tailgate party starting 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, in Central Park at Town Center.

The fireworks display will begin at 8:30 p.m.

In addition to lighting up the sky, there will also be a water slide, volleyball nets and fishing contests.
Beach 92.7 FM will broadcast songs and contests throughout the celebration.

Flagler County Rotary will be selling burgers, hot dogs and beer. Proceeds will benefit scholarships for Flagler County Rotary programs. Coolers and grills are welcome.
