Deputies are searching for 17-year-old Marion Leo Gavins Jr., who was identified as the suspect in the murder of 18-year-old Curtis Israel Gray on the morning of Saturday, April 13, according to a news release by the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office is requesting the help of the community in locating Gavins. A warrant for first degree murder has be issued for his arrest.

“If you know where he may be or any information regarding this shooting, please call us,” Sheriff Rick Staly said in a release. "Do not approach him. He should be considered armed and dangerous. To Gavins I say turn yourself in before you or anyone else is hurt."

Deputies responded to Palm Coast Laundry, located at 4845 Belle Terre Parkway, shortly after 12:30 a.m. Saturday and found Gray clinging to life from a gunshot wound. He later died from his injury.
